We run a varied programme of fun activities. It changes day by day, and includes sessions like fire lighting, shelter building, first aid/ rescue scenarios, camouflage and concealment workshops, fish preparation, nature hikes, and wildlife tracking. We stop for a snack break in the morning and afternoon, as well as at lunchtime. In the evening we run games and Campfires with hot chocolate and marshmallows.

We’ll provide a kit list to the school, but you can also download a copy here. There’s no need to buy specialist equipment - we provide everything that’s needed for the activities. We do ask that you please make sure your son/ daughter has warm layers and waterproofs, as we camp in all weathers. A sleeping bag and sleeping mat is also essential, although we do have some spares in case any are forgotten.

We’re used to catering for all dietary requirements, and we’ll always make sure everybody has as much food as they like - nobody goes hungry on our camps! We’re flexible with picky eaters, and also adhere to any specific dietary or religious needs, so that nobody misses out (like vegan marshmallows, for example). We won’t force anybody to eat anything they don’t want to, our catering team are flexible and friendly and want to make everyone is happy and well fed.

We’re used to handling complex and severe food allergies in camp, and we have robust systems in place. For example, a student with complex or severe allergies will have their own dedicated, labelled coolbox with a personal food supply, solely for contact by them. We don’t take any risks when preparing, handling or serving food.
